The Quad Cities enjoys outstanding low-cost medical facilities. Data Advantage Corporation's Low Cost 100 Report identified the area as one of the nation's lowest cost healthcare providers. And the Iowa Hospital Association calculated inpatient charges 16 percent lower than other similar-sized hospitals in Iowa. Our proximity to the University of Iowa Medical Center in Iowa City, the world's largest university-owned research hospital, provides access to a nationally-rated medical complex.

Genesis Health System
Genesis Health System, headquartered in Davenport, serves a 10-county, bi-state region of the Quad-City metropolitan area and its surrounding communities in both Iowa and Illinois. Genesis Health System is the largest employer in Davenport.
 
Genesis Health System facilities provide the region's residents a wide range of healthcare services, including cardiology, oncology, neurology, birthing centers with a neonatal intensive care center, a diabetes care center, physical medicine and rehabilitation, orthopedics and bariatric surgery.

The Genesis medical center in Davenport was the first hospital in the Quad Cities to receive nursing's highest honor, Magnet designation, and has been consistently recognized as one of the nation's "Most Wired" hospitals and health systems for its use of technology to offer the highest levels of patient outcomes and patient safety.

Genesis At Home provides the region with all home health needs, including the multi-disciplinary team of caregivers from Genesis VNA and Hospice, home medical equipment and the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House. The Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House is the only freestanding hospice house in the region and was designed distinctively to provide comfort and care to terminally-ill patients and their families.

Genesis At Work provides workplace and employee services, including occupational health, employee screenings and employee assistance and wellness programs.

Genesis Health System also operates more than 30 Genesis Health Group physician offices and three urgent care clinics.

Trinity Regional Health System
Trinity Regional Health System comprises three full-service hospitals in Rock Island and Moline, Illinois and Bettendorf, Iowa with a total of 515 licensed inpatient beds and 11 hospice beds, as well as Trinity Visiting Nurse Homecare Association, Robert Young Center’s comprehensive mental health services, Trinity College of Nursing, Trinity Osteopathic Family Practice Medical Residency Program and the Trinity Health Foundation. More than 500 physicians have privileges to treat patients at one or more of Trinity’s three Magnet® award-winning hospitals. Trinity employs 38 allopathic and osteopathic physicians in its local, Trinity and IHS-sponsored physician group.  IHS serves the health care needs of one-in-three Iowans.

The University of Iowa Medical Center, the world's largest university-owned research hospital, located only 50 miles from the Quad Cities, provides low-cost access to a nationally-rated medical complex including 121 medical specialty clinics.
